On October 6, SBCVC’s portfolio company CALB was listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the stock exchange code "3931.HK".
CALB's Chairman Jingyu Liu and Mayor Lei Sheng of Changzhou Municipal People's Government in Changzhou, and Senior Vice President Ying Dai and Chairman Yu Jiang of Huatai United Securities Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong, opened a new chapter of CALB's listing and trading on Hong Kong Stock Exchange via video link. Guests from government, shareholders, investors, customers, supply chain partners, financial institutions, universities and research institutes, industry organizations and media witnessed the historic moment of the company's listing.
CALB is mainly engaged in the research, production, sales and market application development of power batteries, battery management systems, energy storage batteries and related integrated products and lithium battery materials. In 2021, CALB ranked third among domestic power battery manufacturers, after CATL (300750.SZ) and BYD (002594.SZ), and seventh in the global power battery industry.

Approximately 80.0% of the proceeds from the IPO will be used to fund the construction of new production facilities for the Chengdu Phase I Project, Wuhan Phase II Project, Hefei Phase I and II Project, Guangdong Jiangmen Phase I Project and Sichuan Meishan Project, total of 95 GWh of power battery and energy storage system production lines. Approximately 10% of the proceeds will be used for advanced technology research and development to maintain our technological leadership in batteries and production processes, and approximately 10% of the proceeds will be used for operation and general corporate purposes.
